The available custom post types in WordPress are only read when a plugin is activated or deactivated. If a custom post type was added by some other method, then you will need to activate or deactivate a plugin in order for it to show up.

By default, only public custom post types are shown. If you would like to see all registered custom post types, there is an option under Hey Notify > Settings in your WordPress Dashboard to show all custom post types.
